This page sets out the standards governing content production at Le Sportif Plus.
Sources
We rely on identified, reliable sources and credit the original source of a story where relevant. We do not publish information we cannot attribute to a source.
Use of artificial intelligence
AI tools assist with drafting summaries and translations. New imports are saved as drafts so they can be checked before publication. Articles from the previous automated workflow still require progressive review. Quotations must be present in the source and attributed to an identifiable speaker. Inferred quotations, invented testimony and rewrites presented as original reporting are unacceptable. Material without sufficient supporting information must remain a draft.
Corrections
If you spot an error in an article, write to redaction@lesportifplus.com. We review every request and promptly correct any confirmed error, flagging the update in the article where relevant.
News versus opinion
We clearly distinguish news content from opinion and analysis, and advertising or sponsored content from editorial content.
